Barnett Technical Services Awarded California Competes Tax Credit for the Growth of InnoGrove Coworking Space

ELK GROVE, CA – April 21, 2016 – Barnett Technical Services has received a California Competes Tax Credit (CCTC) from the Governor’s Office of Business and Economic Development (GO-Biz). The credit will primarily be used to support the addition of new employees for the growth of InnoGrove, a new innovation-based coworking space in Elk Grove. “We are excited that the CCTC committee of GO-Biz has chosen to award Barnett Technical Services this valuable tax credit. This recognition of our proposal will help us grow InnoGrove into a strong center ofinnovation for the Elk Grove community,” said Steve Barnett, General Manager of InnoGrove. The multi-year proposal reflects plans to grow InnoGrove’s current activities and to support new innovation-related activities in the coming years.

InnoGrove’s current facilities include shared open coworking space/offices, conference rooms, and a training room. InnoGrove Foundation is a non-profit located at InnoGrove that provides public workshops and meetings for Women in Tech, children’s education in STEAM, startup company education, and veterans technology development programs. Most of InnoGrove Foundation’s programs are free to attend as a service to the Elk Grove community.
